Metal Roofing Manufacturer Suggestions?
Has anybody heard of or used ASC Building Products for residential or pole barn applications. I've got a residential job that is looking at ASCBP skyline roofing. Any experience with this company?

Re: Metal Roofing Manufacturer Suggestions?
We've used their Delta Rib III xl and Norclad products. They are quite a bit more expensive than Fabral (largely in part to shipping costs from Oregon versus across the border). I was just quoted 4.98 / lf for their Delta Rib III xl and comparable product from Fabral was 3.49 / lf. Now when you move into the Skyline you're going to paying approx 200% more. I was last quoted 2.49 / lf for Skyline 16" wide panels. I think both companies are decent to deal with for their ag/residential products. Both provide most of their metal in 26 or 29 gauge.

Lot better products out there for about the same or less. I'm in CDA if you want I can point you in different directions. Just need the particulars on your specific projects.

Re: Metal Roofing Manufacturer Suggestions?
I'm always interested in finding better products that are also cheaper. Most of our residential/ag projects that ask for metal are in the 6/12 to 8/12 range with an occassional 10/12. 2' overhangs. We get similar weather as CDA - maybe a little more snow. Snow loads range from 42 - 88 # / sf.

Hatchet, if you've never dealt with CustomBilt in Spokane, you might want to talk to Dale there. I know he's out your way at times with his portable rollformer and pretty much guarantee you he's going to be better to deal with than either of the above. If you tell him I referred you he'll probably only double his price. He's always been a decent guy to deal with for me.
