Metal Roofing Machine?

I want to start manufacturing metal roofing. Standing seam, corrugated steel. Where would a guy even start looking to find the machine that does this? I live in Kansas, everyone has at least one steel building on it.

To help you on the terminology, the machine is called a roll former and they do make portable roll formers on a trailer, etc. you can tow around to the job sites.

One of the companies I buy from just installed a new over and under roll former, meaning it will do classic and commercial panel, depending on selection, and it was only $600,000 or so......and that probably did not include the coil handler.

I have one I purchased from Englert. It was around 35K with the trailer. I have seen used ones going for much less as alot of roofers are going out of business. Look in the Roofers Coffee Shop.

You can look up Knudesen,New-Tech, and Zimmerman. These are 3 machines that the company I work for owns.

thanks for all the replies. I will look into all of the suggestions. I am familiar with roll formers, my gutter guy's have them. I didn't know it was called the same thing for this use.

a corrugated machine, is NOT something your gonna put in a trailer, its a big machine, but a regular standing seam machine can be portable

I'm not sure that's true in all cases. I've seen them with my own two eyes on the jobsite.

our corrugated machine is 6 feet wide and 16 feet long. the standing seam one is much smaller
