What are some of the better ways to install a curb on a metal roof.
Type of sealants for this? |

We install commercial kitchen hood exhaust and make air fans. These come with curbs - I have tried the under over and the over over methods both seem to leak....

If in snow country, the higher the curb the better. Use lots of Ice & Water Shield. Make a cricket on the uphill side of the curb.

The installation guide from Fabral is the best I've seen www.fabral.com go to tech. Most of it can be PDF filed on to your PC. A flashing kit should come with a quality vent, but if not use the info there to pattern your own cricket from sheet stock. We have an arrangement with the local A/C guy to brake me up whatever we need.
