Lifepine?

Anyone ever installed Lifepine shingles, and what was the process if so. I am also looking for a ballpark per sq price with breather-material only(rep won't return my calls)----Does wood roof hike insurance rates (Michigan)? Thanks in advance

Re: Lifepine?

I've never installed pine shingles, and never will. Think about it. if you leave a pine board, a simple fascia board, exposed to the rain and elements it will rot out within 10 years. Do you want that on your roof?

When ever my suppliers bring up pine shakes I cut them off immediately. I have NO faith in a pine roof.

Pine roofs are HUGE failures waiting to happen.
