Lean-to Roof


Can someone tell me how to finish the top course of a lean-to roof on a shed? Is there a better way that putting cold tar over the top course nails?

Use a colored drip edge...the style "D" I think, it is like 2 inches by 2 inches.....I have done it bofore, no problems.
