Lead Roof
Hi, lead roof, lead dressed over wooden roll, like cheap handrail,with flat on bottom, more of my mate Garrys work

That looks good!
Is your mate a roofer or carpenter? What weight is the sheets? I see some spot soldering along the seam, I presume its a flat locked seam. I ve done a little bit of lead work in the past. Iron has to be just right or you ruin your work. Very nice, Last edited by red_cedar; 10-12-2006 at 07:25 PM. |

nice work. must be 4lb lead. the bigest sheet i can get of it is 3 foot. we use it for chimny pans, crickets , etc
