Howe Trusses


I have a house 25' wide with howe trusses, I want to take out two walls will these trusses support the weight for a clear span.

Probably. You need to check the engineering. It's possible they were designed with interior bearing but I doubt it.

If you can't find engineering, get all the measurements, cord locations and lengths, and plate sizes and locations, them take the information to an engineer.
