How Did We Do?
We had a gutter job to do Saturday morning. It snowed Friday night and was still snowing Saturday morning, so I called the homeowner and told him we would try to do it on Sunday.
At noon on Saturday the snow stopped and the sun peeked out so we went to start the job at 1:00 pm and by 6:00 pm we had installed 300 feet gutter with 7 downspouts and extensions with 8 corners on a single story home with decent access.
So in 5 hours we set up, ran the job, cleaned up and collected payment from the HO. I thought that was pretty good for a 2 man crew.
So, I was wondering " how did we do?"

Sounds like you did alright, it really depends on how neat the install was, Proper pitch on gutters, leaders attached neatly, (Plumb). All caulking done (NEAT AND CLEAN), All hidden fasteners ? G

maybe he meant profit, or maybe he's been smoking too much solder.

No, not copper, just white painted steel gutters and galvanized downspouts

Thats seems pretty low cost, unless the solder came in a tube.
What length sections were they?

It was competitive, one guy $ 1940.00, next guy $ 1948.00, following guy was $ 1975.00.
The gutter was seamless, he had a gutter machine.
Solder was for the galvanized downspouts, no screws or caulking required.
