Blue Roofing Crews Needed

Blue Roof crews needed in Lake Charles La. Call 940-521-1315
Make as much money as you want. Avrage crews make $1200.00 per person per week...............

The new roof has undergone it's baptism of fire (Wilmaaaaaaa!) and emerged unscathed. Nary a drop or even water spot, life is good!

The best roofs for hurricane zones are, in order; Cast concrete, metal, flat concrete tile, tile roofs using the new polyurathane adhesives and architectural shingles.

AH HA! Cast concrete dome houses...the wave of the future on the gulf coast. They will all need me to apply Polyurea over them to protect from salt air corrosin, though.

Aaron, don't have an accident too soon. It's going to take Billions more in damage before everybody wises up, I doubt that I will ever see a properly designed home for this area. Flat surfaces, hard corners and Yankee style roofs are just not compatable with high wind speeds. I've spent almost 30 yrs. trying to get people out of the 'box' but everybody is comfortable with boxes. Boxes lose roofs and blow down.

When i was in Puerto Rico all (most) the houses are concrete built including the roofs and I saw none with any sort of coating. The roof was nothing more than a concrete slab on about a 2/12 pitch. Being a roofer I was very interested.

Forever is a big word Aaron, but if we drift back to the history of western civilization we find that the Romans were the first to play in a concrete pour......and ....well, everybody knows their work.

Close the romans were the first to use "rebar" re-enforcement. Concrete goes back to at least the sumarians.

Not to trump the great book but http://matse1.mse.uiuc.edu/~tw/concrete/hist.html

Romans were the first to engineer concrete for structural feats.

I will say they were the first to have success with a liquid pour because they used "rebar".
