Is There A Term For A Tiny Protrusion From A Rectangular Building?

say you have a 30x30 building but in the center of one wall you have a 4x4 area that sticks out (windows on 3 sides) . Is there an industry term for that?

I guess it's like a bay window, but full height.

this is for a scale house so the person has a 180 degree view of the front of the building.

great analogy but, mind you, if the one wall that has this protrusion, is the back wall??

I just want to know when the date is to announce the winner as well as what the winner gets!!!

Back in our roofing days my brother would call anything he didn't like a f*****g norton. Feel free to apply that one, he never copyrighted it.

Good Luck

It's not a house. It is a metal building. Dump Trucks will be pulling up to the scales to get weighed. The scale operator will be able to step into this 4x4 area and he will have a 180 degree view of the front of the building and the scale area.

I was just trying to think of a term to call it on the quote. We used the term "extension/bay".

Sorry, but when you said scale house, I thought it was a model done to scale Me bad, ok just a little

Ah, a payment window, observation window, etc... No there is no standard term - It is a simple bump out for X purpose. When drawing plans, it is best to label what the area is for
