I have dealt with many out of square slabs and the advice above is right on. Just remember though, If you have to move an interior wall a bit because of that, don't change the kitchen or bath dimensions, as you can screw up shower/tub/cabinet installations. A bedroom can be an inch or two off plan size.

those tapes break after 2 mos but still the best i've found. they'll lay a finger open when broke
