Loneframer: Why all the large lumber on the turret? It looks to me the octagon framing is taking the weight and the turret is just holding itself. Obviously that's wrong or you wouldn't have put all that lumber up there, just curious.

I built an octagon bar under the water slide
The rear half was even hard. This was a sloping ramp then down to a lower lvl that wrapped around the building. Holy crap that was a pain in the butt

Good point, I didn’t do the roofing thou, Paul from “Flash Roofing” is the master
It wasn’t easy we had specific structure movement issues to deal with

Thanks. The big lumber is mainly for R-value. I like the double hips for greater nailing, moreso for inside than out. All was speced in the plans.

This one might win in the quantity department. 5 floors of wood framing is too much IMHO, but we do what we gotta do.

still awsome picts , and yeah thats a huge aprtment complex wow , as for the newb question i can hit a 16d in 3 hits , 1 for setting , 2 for sending it home
