Does anyone use that term anymore? it was used when I started but that was a while ago.

Isn't that an old name for the weather-resistant exterior plywood, much like we might be accustomed to saying "Advantech" today?

My dad always says that. I was always under the impression plyscore was just another name for CDX plywood.
