The corner is actually true...its just the Azek fascia hanging down that makes it look bad.

In and of itself ,that sentence speaks volumes, about what's wrong with most of the residential construction industry today. Years ago a GC was very knowledgable in all aspects of residential const.,and he was'nt in the dark about the process, he knew when something was'nt right and would call you on it ,after all it was his name going on the project.

Now days, 60% of the GC's in this part of the country don't have a clue,
by the way, getting your GC license down here ain't that hard ,(it's an open book test, just pay your $75. ). They hire the cheapest subs they can find, for all stages of construction, and don't know if it's right or not (no inspections needed outside city limits)

Then 3 years later (when you were $5000 over the guy that got the bid)they call you and want to know why there front porch is sinking and the brick is pulling away from the house, or why the sheetrock ceiling in the spare bedroom fell to the floor after several rain storms.

Licensed to steal, and make us all look bad.

John,

How's it going? Been awhile since we heard from you.

Hardie now has two formulations because they were having trouble in some climates. So they modified one version and the other I believe is the same, just a different color. I think you and I are in the same "Hardie Zone".
