My latest project

I really tried hard on this one... I think I finally learned how to properly frame and build an addition. This one is rock solid!

Lots of stodgy ol' bastards would say
the cores have to point up!
They just want to stifle the
creative side of the out of the box
thinker.
We need more innovators.

I guess it looks ok, I would just be concerned that you didn't use enough liquid nails in between the stacked pieces

I was supposed to use LN! Woops, when I saw the price per tube, I figured it was a scam.

Me too. At 44 years old I actually believe that this is the first time...except for my kids and they don't count.
Any particular reason you didn't just mortar up 4 block pillar and crib from there? No doubt is solid, but looks temporary. Not being a mason I have no idea what kind of overall strength that block standing on end has, but I would bet it has more laying the way that it was designed too.

I sure hope so. Sarcasm is hard to convey on the internet, but I'm sure he's joking.
