Help With Tji Construction


Hello everyone, im a carpenter from england, i specialise in mainly old restoration projects mainly old oak listed buildings.
I have been asked to work on a new project using tji joist floors and frame construction. as i dont know much about this system yet is there anywhere i could find more out about it?
or could some of you answer some questions?

contact any engineered joist maker and they will have lots of information, they are easier to work with, no warping, can cut out some of the webs for pipes, they are different from dimensional lumber but IMOP I wouldn't use anything elses especially with trusses and joist, hope that helps
