Framing Off-set Skylight Tunnel With Corkscrew Wall
Gentlemen,
In response to a thread in drywall about framing and drywalling curved surfaces - like the bottom of a curved staircase - I'm humbly offering a few pics of a recent similar job - a skylight where the opening in the ceiling is off-set from the centre of the skylight and twice the width of the skylight, creating a corkscrew / wave effect on one of the light tunnel walls. Lots oif fun framing it - at least for me - I'm sure full-time framers see this all the time, but it was something new for me your more generalized renovator. Anyway, it's at http://www.contractortalk.com/f89/co...-tunnel-59215/ |
