Framing In GTA

In the next few months I will be moving from Ottawa Ontario to Oakville area. I 've been a framing contractor in Ottawa for a couple of years and I am looking to move my buisness with me.

So who do you talk to about getting contracts? I know a builder at Mattamy homes. Who are the good builders? Any framers looking for subs. How much you getting a square foot.

Re: Framing In GTA

Look on the Greater Toronto Home Builders Association website.

Also, keep in mind that builders down here are probably like builders up there.. They take their time to pay.. So make sure you have at least 60 days of cash inventory.

Mattamy apparently pays regular, but they have a huge amount of cashflow with all of their projects... even though I've seen a bunch in Milton close recently when they didn't even have the siding on yet.
