Framing Checklist

Can anyone tell me what they want us to do with this framing checklist. The inspector is looking for me to fill it out. They don't usually follow up on these so I have never filled one out. Thanks

Re: Framing Checklist

Not quite sure what youre talking about except for maybe a punch list of things the inspector found that you didnt do or do right. If thats what it is just go through the house and fix whatever is wrong. If thats not it i dont know what to tell ya cause ive never had a checklist to fill out before.

Checking the checklist.thanks So your telling me this county gives this out this as manditory to be filled out by.all trades?commercial and res.Never had to do it .What we get and maybe I (assumed)most do are for inspecter .We just look for the green tag .Every county up here is a bit different.Soo,now i get it./and no text,i type slow enough. I do not frame full time but i have yet to see a town use that list here in NJ in any permits Ive pulled. Or even the contractor I sometimes work for when Im slow.

Re: Framing Checklist

But before i got seduced by a slick gc to go on my own , as a forman we had some overly detailed paperwork.Similar, and yea if your tracking a larger workforce its neccisary.Shure you know rough framers.Allways in a hurry. Its pounded into us.You start to like the pain after awhile. And if you got alot on your plate, its a good thing to do.Magic marker on shoulder never gets lost, forgotten or destroyed. And by the way, were lick-n them plates nowadays.
