Framing Addition To An Existing Block Wall

What's the recommended procedure to extending a block wall with wood studs? Is masonry screws and/or lead anchors enough for that first stud? Maybe make that 1st one pressure treat or put a little foam between the two materials..

I'm actually more worried about the expansion/contraction differences between the two materials. This house will have a complete new stucco exterior and when all is said and done, I don't want any cracks between the two wall types.

Any ideas and/or tricks to try?

Piece of advise. The new structure is going to move. Best thing for cracking is a stucco expansion joint, very flexible. Lead anchors are outlawed in this world. Regular wood cannot touch concrete. Treated wood has to have either Galvanized or stainless anchors. Tapcons work if your dumb enough to use them.
