framers hourly?

Just wondering what the other framing contractors are charging on hourly extras. I've been at 55 for a while now but when I hear what other subs are charging I wonder if I'm undercutting.
Also I have a guy desperate for me to do a real ugly job, all hand cut 10/12, 22' high rake walls and on the side of a cliff an hour from anywhere. Dont really wanna bid it with monsoon season coming up and there is snow in that high country. Thinkin about telling him I'd take it on hourly but not for 55, and what does a guy get for his crew? any thoughts? thanks

Figure out your hourly rate (not what you charge, what you pay a journeyman framer) and triple it, same for the rest of the crew, this covers wages, employee deductions, comp, insurance, etc. oh and your profit

This is my rule of thumb, check the numbers it could be higher or lower for you.

We don't frame by the hour, and I don't hire subs that way, its all in the bid. From the description, the labor to frame that one would be minimum of $10 a sq/ft here in Oklahoma....with the extras you describe....much more.
