Feedback - Square Foot Or Lineal Foot Pricing

Just trying to get some feedback on how different companies price their framing
1A) Wall or partition pricing by the square foot?
1B) Typical dollar amount.
2A) By the lineal foot based on a specific height.
2B) Ex - Dollar amount for 8' high, 10' and 12'

What is your location? On the East Coast per amount of nails used, on the West Coast per amount of studs, down South per amount of plywood.
