Cost In Fl


I'm A Contractor In Atlanta Ga.i've Got A Chance To Expand To Jacksonville ,fl.but I Would Like To Know The Going Rate Per Sq. Foot For Framing In That Area.also If Anyone Knows The Cost Per Sq Foot For Forming ,placeing And Finishing, And Tying Rebar?

I saw this on another forum - but with a different story. Anyway - there are so many variables for construction costs. Are you going to use white wood or engineered.. how many walls you have will effect the amount of framing required.. more walls most cost / sf. Forming placing and finishing is pretty much the same thing - how thick, what size rebar, what finish, how thick.. etc..etc.

Don't know the exact answer to your question, - - but looking up average area modification cost factors, - - Atlanta is running at about +17% and Jacksonville is running at about +4%. That should translate to rates in Jax being about 11% less than your going rates in Atlanta.
