Re: Attn: Joe Carola
you can private message him. Go to his profile by clicking his name where it comes up next to his posts, or anytime the name is in blue text. In the right colume on the top is "Contact Information", with a link for private messaging the person.

Ask him if he's related to Adam for me...I've been curious about that.

Re: Attn: Joe Carola
First, I'd like to apologize to Joe. I threw your name out and didn't think first.
Divine, give up some info. dump a pdf of the plans you want built. let us see how serious you are. if someone from my area dropped in asking for a referrence, i'd be wondering. in jersey you got a big choice. or you could be a guy looking to screw a quality guy over. who are you. put your product out in public.there are a lot of jersey boys who hang out around here. fusco comes to mind. Anyway Divine, let yourself be qualified, show some history and maybe you'll get results. Joe, I'd recommend you in a heartbeat and I'm sure I'm not alone. Solitacions(sp ???) on the web ain't qualified...peace out |

Re: Attn: Joe Carola
in response to kpatrix:
I agree with you 100%. I understand there are tons of GC’s out there screwing subs over every day and so I know exactly what you mean. Let me tell you as well as everyone else a little about myself so you understand I am not out to screw anyone and I am an honest contractor looking for quality sub-contractors. My name is Tom Guzzardi. I started out as a union laborer for a medium sized commercial interiors GC in NYC in 1988 and worked my way up to project manager before leaving the company in 1993 to further my career. At that time I took a job as a project manager for a NJ based residential GC and stayed there for about a year before somewhat switching careers. This meaning I have an architectural/ design background because my father was owned a successful NYC based interior design firm and I grew up around architecture. He was the reason I started out in construction because he felt instead of learning architecture in school, it is best to learn in the field by working for a contractor. “It is the only way you truly know what goes on at a jobsite and the only way you know how to actually construct what you draw on paper.” I have to say this is the truest lesson I have ever learned. Anyway, I have been doing interior design since 1994 and currently (since 2004) own my own successful firm in NYC. My passion has always been for construction though. Throughout my entire career as an interior designer I have always taken side construction projects and in 2003 started working part time as a project manager for a NYC based GC. This truly wore me out but like I said, I love construction. Now for Divine Construction LLC. I finally decided to jump ship and open my own construction company in January of 2007. Some of my current projects are: Associated Press (Manhattan), Stellar Management (Manhattan), CBRE (Manhattan), Metropolitan Jewish Geriatric Center (Brooklyn), and several residential projects in the central NJ area. I really want to focus on residential work in NJ but being my contacts are in NY, this is where I am currently getting most of my work. In June and July I have several advertisements coming out around the area which is the reason I am looking for new sub-contractors. Currently all my subs come from NY. I am an honest person with a real company looking for quality subs. I promptly pay all my subs and build good relationships with them. My subs are what keep me in business and are what get me my reputation; therefore I treat my subs with the respect I want them to treat me with. I do have references if you need them. I hope this helps you understand a little about what Divine Construction LLC is and hopefully we could build a good relationship and work on many projects together.
