Question

Walnut Veneered Board For Bathroom Cupboard?

I have built a full-room-height cupboard in a bathroom that I've completely ripped out and newly installed, its at one end of the bath. The stud wall of this cupboard houses the pipework for the bath shower valve. The rest of the cupboard will be shelved to house towels etc.
It's a standard 3x2" framed cupboard and rather than line it with
MDF, to be painted, I want to line it with a Walnut Veneered MDF with
a door to match.
However, I am conscious about making it water resistant, being in a
moisture ridden environment and obviously want to avoid the veneer
peeling in the future, plus any edging strips I have put on the edges.
Can anyone recommend a veneered board product that may be suitable for
bathrooms and what I could do with the door, which will obviously have
more exposed edges than the rest of the cupboard... the unit will have
a single full height door to the front.
Any advice would be great.
Many thanks
Dean.

Do a search for moisture resisitant MDF. What's a cupboard anyway?

I think that's what midwesterners call cabinets.

Yes, because you store your cups there and its made out of boards... and they used to not have doors, back in the days when bread was $0.05 a loaf and...

Don't know about all that stuff... it's just what we call a storage unit, here in the UK.
I suppose you guys might refer to what I'm constructing as a "Built-in"

We do use the terms wardrobe (for clothes all though a bit of an old term now) and also cabinets, but that more something to put things in like trophies and ornaments.
