Are you a local or national representative for this mill work company?

someone that can do an ACCURATE take off. someone that will bring wood on HIS truck when you need it ASAP.

thats what makes the difference here.if you can call your salesman and say "i need this as soon as you can get it to me", and he brings it then he is a good salesman. there are only a couple that will still do it here ans their the 1s making the most $. the rest of them dont give a **** .

Also delivering when you say you will, the quantities you say you will, at the price you say you will, and the quality you say you're going to deliver.

Plus dont make me ask for pencils

No back orders!
Also, double, (& triple?) checking the door handing, & sizing. Missing doors cause all sorts of problems, way more than being short on mouldings. Become very familiar with the stair part catalogs. Most new salesman don't have a clue.

"I'm sorry Brock, my delivery guy missed it on the ticket. I will personally brink it by in 15 minutes. Do your men want donuts or beer when I come?"

"What, we put brick mould on that door and it's not supposed to get it? Our door guy said all you have to do is......"

Never want to hear "all you have to do is......" when it wasn't my F'up.
