Tip Of The Day

If you are ripping and shaping Azek,
don't wear your forest green chamois cloth shirt.

For you guys that use hair product... you may want to avoid lubing your locks when machining Azek as well.

Have you heard the term "snowbird"?

I recommend at least a T-shirt, flashed properly so as not to encourage dust within the confines of your waistband.

Another tip: Make sure the hose on your shop-vac is connected to the "suck" port before turning it on in your client's living room.

That was a bummer to learn

Re: Tip Of The Day

To get rid of the electrified Azek snow use Static Guard before you cut. Spray a little on your saw and yourself.

More useful non Azek tip NEVER fry bacon naked!

Re: Tip Of The Day

Great advice. Most people, like myself, transport their vacs with the hose in the exhaust port.

Re: Tip Of The Day

I am still finding Azek in my table saw, miter saw and pouch from a deck I did in December. Stuff never goes away.

Does the Static Guard really work?

It really does work. Spray it on any surface where you don't want Azek to stick to you. I would recommend spraying near your eyes...
