Survey: Window Casing Installation


What are all of the hand tools that you use when you install window casing that you do not use to install door casing?

If there are any tools that you use for window casing, but not for door casing, or vise versa, pleas explain why.

Stuff I use for window trim but not needed for doors
Pocket screws for extension jambs
Router for window sills

Stuff I use for door trim but not needed for windows
Chisels for strikers
Screw guns for hinges & hardware

Pocket screws for both window & door head to jamb casings
Sometimes pockets & biscuits

I use a hand plainer alot. Many times the jambs are sticking past the dry wall and need to by plained down.

Small circ saw and jap pull saw for stool.
