Staple Or Cleat
Hi guys,
Im going to be installing my first engineered floor and I wanted some feedback from people with experience. I have a pneumatic flooring gun that shoots the cleat nails but i think it might split the engineered floor .My nailer had the removeable shoe that can be switched for different thickness flooring materials.I have installed a good amount of 5/4 mahogony as well as 3/4 oak but this flooring i am told will measure 7/16" and has a prefinnished wood top veneer. Should I rent a floor stapler for this ir will mine work?any guidance would be apreciated Thanks Steve |

Re: Staple Or Cleat
I've seen the floor guys using staplers for the engineered stuff.
