Small Curved Brace Backets

Made some little brackets today. These are made from 2x4 framing lumber. The curved braces add some interest, as do the scroll ends and the joinery. No mortise and tenon, just let-in. These are called haunched braces. The vertical and horizontal members are lag screwed to the brace from the back.

Poly glue and GRK structural lags from the backside. 5 screws in each bracket.

Re: Small Curved Brace Backets

I actually sat down and calculated how many holes I drilled in a year back when I did production stairs; it was in the range of 6-7 k holes a year. I will buy my pegboard, thank you.
