Removing Bird Crap

I just had a nice porch build with Koma (simislar to Azek) and my I left it unpainted. my problem is now I have bird on the boards and it wont come off. I tried the builders sugggestion of mineral spirits, but that just smuged it. Any suggestions out there?

Wet it good. Then place a towel upon it with 2 to 3 pounds of weight upon the towel. Osmosis should occur and the crap SHOULD lift?!?!?!?! Maybe.

Too late to help you (I'm sure the bird's miles away by now ), - - but I believe Koma is less dense than Azek (can't say I've actually used Koma), so would therefore conceivably be more absorbent.

I always use Azek, even though pricey, but I always paint it, too. Just more protection, I figure. The edges seem especially succeptible, as they are more porous than the faces.

Anyway, - - at this point, - - seems like your choices might be either to replace a few pieces, - - or paint the whole shebang (if Malco's idea doesn't work) . . .
