Program For Material Takeoffs And Cut Lists?
Hi guys. Any millworkers know of a computer program for doing material takeoffs and cut lists that I could pickup without emptying my bank account
??? Don't need anything fancy, just enough to keep me from staying up half the night figuring it all out on paper. My friend, who runs a millwork shop, said he'd give me a copy of the program he uses (but I'd have to buy a whole new "big" computer system to run the damn thing). It does shop drawings, full 3-d elevations, etc... Too much for my needs (basically need it for my side jobs). Thanx!!! |

For side jobs look at eCabinet Systems.
http://www.ecabinetsystems.com/ Of course their goal is to sell you their CNC machines - but their software is pretty good (and it's free). |
