Pricing In South Ga.
could anyone could give me some advice on their prices in south ga. Im just starting out on my own here. been trimming for some one else for 7 years.Asked his prices but they seem to low.currently im charging .50 cent a ft for spec houses which includes hanging doors and running baseboard, and shoe mold after floors are in .25 $ a room for crown for each step. if i case out windows 25$ a window. build columns for 50$. simple mantles for 250$. this is what my boss says he charges but i find it hard to believe. Seems like hes trying to keep me there since i run the crew and he doesnt have to work if he doesnt want to. although i can trim a small house approx. 1500 sq ft by myself in a day and half making about 1200$ minus taxes (33 percent). alot better than 600 a week.someone please help me out here i want to be compeditive but dont want to be to cheap.so far all gc ive worked for are very pleased with work so i need to get paid what im worth
