Oooh...Shiny

My client brought in a vanity sink and said she wanted me to build a 2 drawer cabinet that this could sit on. She wanted the cabinet to be the same size as the sink so it would flow as a single unit. I had to build the drawers with center notches for the plumbing. The finish is gloss white, Resistant (ML Campbell) and that is covered in a gloss clear (ML Campbell Krystal). The drawers are dovetailed and made out of a 9 ply 5/8" European Maple. The pictures don't really show how glossy it is. It is pretty shiny though.

That slide looking thing is a drawer slide, back side of a Blum Tandem 21" slide, it is on my rolling cart.

My drawers, I don't outsource doors or drawers. As a matter of fact I don't really outsource anything.

Well nice work stud.

I didn't know there was an Amish community in Connecticut. Not bad work considering you have to work to candle light. You make those too I assume.

Reminds me of lingerie,
those drawers are too pretty to hide!
Nice work as usual.

Is the slide deal a tool tray?

Re: Oooh...Shiny

That's another story. I was making sliding shelves for a pantry unit and forgot to subtract the 3/8" in the width so they would actually fit in the box. So I had them kicking around. I put one on my tablesaw for my dado set and push sticks. And one under that cart. It's nice when I work on things that I need wrenches and screwdrivers, things that are fairly small. I still have one more drawer that needs a home. Of course I had to remake them the right size for my client.

Re: Oooh...Shiny

Ya, I hope it works out for the plumber. I looked at my sink in my shop bathroom and If they can do it the same way, it'll fit. It's gonna be tight and they will have to use 1 1/4 drains until it hits the 2" PVC in the wall. I can here the swearing already

Nice Job.

I recently worked in a 1950's vintage kitchen with similar a similar drawer front profile. Streamlined.
