Microplane Sanding Discs

Hey just wondering if any of you guys had ever used these.....for 5 inch random orbital sanders.....they are stainless steel discs in course, medium, and fine grit. supposedly each many many times greater in longevity then paper, and supposedly cuts many times faster as well. just ordered a couple to try out since they aren't terribly expensive.

Re: Microplane Sanding Discs

I tried them and yes they do last longer than abrasive discs but once the pores clog up, they're done.
