Linear Foot Pricing
Hey, I am wondering if anyone out there can give me a rule of thumb quote on how to bid on a per linear foot basis.... this would include basic trim around windows, doors, and base trim. I am just starting out in this kind of thing and need a little input. I live in the Spokane, Wa area....

Re: Linear Foot Pricing
Do the math on a job you've already done
How long does it take you to trim a room? How much is the material? How much do you want to make per hour? How many linear feet in the room? Add up the cost per hour X number of hour + material cost / linear feet Add 20% for overhead and profit. Do a couple of smaller jobs, re-confirm the numbers and adjust. If you're doing it yourself don't forget time to pickup and buy the material talk to your client, etc. etc. |
