Light rail?

I do kitchens but this one problem is starting to really bother me. When installing light rail that actually has a light behind it how do you fill the tiny gap between it and the cabinets. The light can be seen through it.

I usually glue and run a bead of caulk on the back side after installation but there has got to be an easy way to do this. The cheap frameless are the worst but framed can be a problem as well.

I hope I explained this well enough because it pi$$es me off.

Thanks for any suggestions

Try a fine bead of Power Grab adhesive on top of the light rail, before you press it into place. The Power Grab is thick enough to fill gaps and opaque enough to block light. Works well with crown on cabinets too. Any squeeze out cleans up with water, and the high tack of the stuff helps to hold the molding in place as you pin it.

Cheers,

Bass
