An old boss told me the more hats you wear the more valuable you are, and I always have believed that. If you can do trim do that if you can find framing do that. Whatever pays the bills.

This is what's got me all worked up on this job. I love making nice crown look good. There's a ton of it to put in yet.



I did my first one of these Friday. What is the technical term for these ceilings where the room is divided all up into smaller sections? Coffered?

Looks like good ,tight 45's framerman(trimmerman) ,2 on ladders 1 on saw ? Or a lot of up and down for you? Nice.

Sorry, I should have said that this was in the well lit room and done by some talented guys before I got there. I was just showing this for reference. The room I was in was dark, dusty, and a gas powered compressor was right outside the window fuming us. iPhone in a dark room = bad pictures.

This is the section I was doing with the premade crown section.





2 guys, we both elected to take a section and up and down, which I know is stupid.

We called those ceilings box beams, although it is in a coffer.

Thank you for the compliment. I feel paint grade is just as important as stain grade to get nice right before finish.
