I Need A Particular Wood Filler.

A month ago I installed some maple block kitchen countertops supplied by IKEA. I was forced to make a but joint. There was a small seam which I filled with MiniWax epoxy but now it's shrunk a bit and cracked along the seam. The seam is right next to the sink basin. Over the years water will destroy this.

Can anyone recoment a filler product for this scenario?

Underneath the seam is the wall for a dishwasher alcove I built so I couldn't use any hardware to connect the seam. I'll pull the dishwasher out and screw up into the adjacent countertop and then fill it again. Perhaps I just need three applications of miniwax.

The HO doesn't like the miniwax.
