I haven't drooled this hard in years...

And I have a well outfitted 7'x14' interstate w/a 7' tall ceiling

Does anyone have an arm or leg I can use as a down payment?

Wow, any idea on how much these are. My 7x14 is only 3 1/2 years old, but I would dump it in a heartbeat for this. I love the low profile...

based on the one I found for sale used, I'd say take a Wells Cargo 7x14 and at least double it if not more

Here is a similar idea, but home made on a flat bed. This was in JLC IIRC:

Great ideas. I have an 18' car trailer I'd like to do something similar to. I'd probably leave a lane down the center for long materials though.

Any concerns with leaving your tools exposed while you are inside working?

Especially for you city boys.

Heck, the city guys would be lucky to even be able to park the thing, let alone leaving it open.

I do like the OP concept, though. Those swing-up sides would be the cat's pajamas in rainy weather.

I guess my post did not make it clear, but that trailer is not mine. It was made by a guy that goes by "gdcarpenter"... I think he is in a sunny, dry climate. Could add an RV awning to it for rainy climates.

I want to build a module like it for my flatbed trailer that could be rolled in from my shop loading dock with a pallet jack.

All the best,

Bass

Well then.........GET TO IT!

I am sure, based on your History, that YOUR trailer will make his look like a LEGO set!

Wish you well in your endeavor!!!!

Poor Bass,

How do you live with the pressure of all these expectations?

I think Bass performs at his peak when the odds are against him, ergo the Empire levels.

Dude,

My stack of oddball levels reads just like your Stabila stack... you have to admit that.

But then again................

If you KNOW the weakness of your particular level, regardless of brand, you can compensate religiously and create something BETTER than those who take the perceived "precision" of their level for granted!!!

A weak level tends to make one pay more attention to the task at hand!!!!

Yo Bass, I still use my True Blues on occasion. That 4'er looks like it's out alot but the bubbles are so sensitive it's probably out less than 1/16th in 4'. I'm gonna look into the warranty though, I registered all of the levels.

I don't take anything for granted, including my Stabilas, I always flip end for end, but am always thrilled to see that no compensation must be made for inferior quality.
