Hey MNJConstruction-"trailer Pics"

MNJ,

Here are some pics of the "trailer" loaded.
I can get everything I need for most jobs in here at one time, jobs when we build cabinets and such, I make 2 trips. ( sucks--but it works for now ).
My partner has a 7' x 16' ramp door trailer-thinks he's cool!

The first pic is what fits, second pic are the tools that go on the 2nd load if needed.

Thanks guys - hope you get a kick out of these,

Re: Hey MNJConstruction-"trailer Pics"

I like it, very smart way of transporting your stuff

Ive been brewing over different ways to pack **** into my pickup, not going to be very easy because I put people in the back seat fairly often and I dont want most tools exposed in the bed. Im going to have to start putting tools in the backseat and people in the bed

The two little BOSCH tool cases....would they happen to house a Jigsaw and Palm Router?

That is some van set up you have there, nice set of pictures too. I am envious of trades that can keep their work vehicles cleaner than I can...no large paint spills, and the steering wheel isn't 1" thick with paint.

Thanks WP,

If you want to eliminate the paint spills,---you could find another trade

Damn you got a lot of stuff in your van. I think with just the Milwakee saw and stand you might be over the weight limit!

I know that saw is heavy but, I heard it was a pretty good saw.

Very, very organized.

That would hold a lot of systainers.

Thanks Warner,

I've answered posts on other threads about the saw, I like it better than the other 12" SCMS on the market now--but I haven't even looked at the Festool yet ( 10" ).

Let's just say that I'm lucky to not have to stop at the weigh stations

Roger

BTW--what s a systainer?

Thanks Bass,

I'm sure others have had similar ideas, but I'm happy to share-let me know if I can be of any help. Not sure if it's my idea--feel free to steal away

Re: Hey MNJConstruction-"trailer Pics"

lol, the fully loaded van pic is awesom, ill post a photo of my junker car fully loaded next time its jammed up

the biggest load ive had in it i think was my compressor, chop saw, router, 4 tool bags, 4 power tool cases w/ tools, 1 bench and a lazy boy which the homeowner gave to me at the end of the job, the chair was 2 years old his wife didnt like the color... within 10 minutes of sitting in it at home i passed out, best tip ever next to extra $$$

Forget you already replied to this post? Damn post whores....lol

I also have another question for the OP....Why do you have what appears to be the DeWalt Miter Saw stand in there? Was it part of an old set-up?

Re: Hey MNJConstruction-"trailer Pics"

Wow I never realized you could get that much in a minivan. Thank you for posting pictures, You have made my decision very easy about getting one. The ramps are genius! I'm going to start looking for one today. Now when I buy full size cargo van I'm kind of partial to the 3/4 ton dodges. Does make/model really matter in a minivan? Whats you guy's preferences?
