Help With Porch Roof Cornice

Anyone have a source for cornice ideas?

I thought I saw an article in a JLC mag but I can't find it back to 2001 (that's back as far as I have).
I am building a front porch roof and am at the point where I want to put the exterior trim on the front facade. See if you can follow me.

I want to run crown up the roof line at the rake. Roof is 10/12. The bottom of the rake crown will die into a water table on top of a horizontal crown that runs side to side, above the columns and terminates at the eave. I have a 7 1/2"" overhang on the roof with a 5 1/2" sub fascia. The rake crown isn't the issue.

Here is the problem. I can't seem to figure out how to terminate the horizontal crown over porch columns at the eave without some type of cornice. The bottom of the fascia is in plane about 1" above the top of the column. I wanted the crown to extend to the sub fascia but don't know how to treat the fascia where it comes out perpendicular to the horiz. crown.

Don't bash me if it's confusing. I spent almost 2 hrs trying to figure this out today and I"m confused
