Re: Hauling Tools In A Trailer
I have a some hooks on the wall that I ratchet strap the table saw and chop saw with so they don't move when driving. But like jcalvin said, if it's to hard to secure it in, you won't use it.
I have a good insurance policy and locks. At night the trailer is almost always out side my house or in a VERY visable place on the job. |

Re: Hauling Tools In A Trailer
I have a 7x16 dual axle v-nose with a drop tail gate.I took a 2x6 put eye bolts in it and glued and screwed it to the top of the walls. I have 2 ridgid chop saws and a planner. I took the good rachet straps and straped the ridgid stand on wheels to the wall. had to take the planner off to heavy. put d-rings in the floor for it.Placed a ridgid gang box up front. Built a shelf on left side for a brake, put portable table saw underneath and place for compressor, paint sprayer.put d rings on the floor for tile saw. Best thing I put in it was a old metal storage cabinet. Placed straps between the doors with wing nut so it want open while driving. Hope this helped.
