Grex 23 Gauge Good, What About 18 & 16 G? ?

I'm pretty much sold on the benefits of the 23 Gauge pinner going from what everyone says about it, but I'm due an upgrade of my 18 & 16 gauge guns. Anyone have or used the Grex in these gauges? I found the 18 gauge here for $99.....seems like a good deal but I haven't looked around too much. http://www.ontimesupply.com/index.ph...oducts_id=1897
Otherwise, it may be the Bostitch. They also have them at ontime in new & reco. http://www.ontimesupply.com/index.ph...facturers_id=9

I agree fully on the Grex 23 ga gun.
Then I go with Senco
Most guys here will follow suit, I think. Judging from previous threads similar to this one

Re: Grex 23 Gauge Good, What About 18 & 16 G? ?

i was at the mid atlantic show about 2 years ago and the guys were demo'n the grex. i was in need of a new 16 and 18, but couldn't leave without the 23!! so we worked out a deal and off i went

so the 23 micro pinner ends up being un questionably the very best gun i have ever bought and gets more use than any other gun!! the 18 shoots like crap and the safty pin gets stuck behind the trigger so it won't fire unless i hold it place while pressing the nose against what i'm about to shoot!! also it sounds, and feels like a cheap gun... CH or the like. same with the 16.... the safty works fine, but it fires like a cheap gun. the pinner and the other 2 guns don't seem related at all other than the color of their paint.

i ended up, after trying the grex, just throwing them in a bag with my other old guns and buying the rigid guns. my choice was driven by the 3 year warrenty (that's alot of abuse) and the fact that home depot's policy about tools is rather loose if i have a problem i get a new gun!

The rest of Grex's line of nail guns is just as impressive as their 23ga. pinner.

A there lies the confusion . So, has something changed with the Grex 16 & 18 g guns since all the bad reviews? Are there new models Warner? Do you own/use them?

I have the roofing gun, and the angled finish nailer. Bought these after the pin nailer.

Very hefty looking tools, feel very well built, weight is good, and so far they can stand up to the work.
