Did that include demolition and disposal?

Thanks guys, he is 95% done just few odds and ends. He did a very nice job I am happy with the end result. He is very good at trim, I think he just paced himself. The only thing is that it is a flipper house, better quality than needed, but I hope the people looking at it to buy will see the quality! I can't complain about somebody taking pride in there work! Thanks for the input.

As opposed to paying bad money? You didn't ask?

I would guess his answer is that he will take good money - and - as much as he can get.

I'm always looking for this job!

Guys, we should have sent this guy off to the DIY forum a long time ago. He is a house flipper, not a contractor. If he was a GC he wouldn't be asking "how long should such and such take?". OP, I suspect you are the client that is always trying to get the bid cheaper no matter what the price. It sounds to me that you didn't like any of the bids that came in for this house, so you hired this guy by the hour hoping it would turn out cheap, am I right?

OP the sooner you learn to treat your contractor as a if he were a client, the greater your success will be. Flipping is all about the timeline, do you want to build a relationship with contractors who will make you a priority when construction is booming again?

1. You should have hired someone to contract the job, then you wouldn't feel like you're being screwed.

2. I get customers just like you all the time who think they're getting screwed.

3. If you can do a better job, then knock yourself out.

4. You are the one who didn't put any thought into your question.
