Re: Festool??????????

when you pass don't forget to tell them you want the "Green systainer casket" it features one big drawer with custom Styrofoam insert to keep you in place. don't forget to order the wheeled accessory cart - your pallbearers will love you for it..

You're actually going to build something? And here I thought you were just a tool collector (or dust collector- depending on how you look at it....)

Re: Festool??????????

I told you over on jlc I could use your help on the coffered ceiling Bob, come on get with it ....remember, you get to do the high work, I'll play with the festools safely on the ground (god I hate heights).

And I don't want to hear about you already having a job..blah, blah, blah

I'm not sure if I even remember how to do real work....especially with totally sitting around after the hernia repair for the last 6-8 weeks...

Hernia repair? How'd you get a hernia- rolling your systainers around the shop, or picking up a magazine???

I wish I could go play with you on your coffered ceiling job- I'm dying to get back to working with the tools. For the time being, I'll have to make do with doing some chair rail and wall frames up the stairwell in the next few weeks. Of course, that'll require a TS55, CT22, and MTF-3, since some of the wall frame angles are over 45, and my miter saw won't cut them. Nothing quite like buying $1500+ to put up $40 worth of molding!!

........arsehool

I think I actually did it picking up the front of the trailer to move it a "little" to get it hitched up to the truck...of course the trailer was fully loaded and I just couldn't wait for help..., and riiiiip, a very weird/painful feeling in my stomach...this was a couple of years ago...and my intestine started to poke out of my belly button shortly after..

Aren't you glad you asked? Hope you're eating your breakfast right about now...

As far as having to get the tools for that small amount of work...that's the way it should be...

I've just got a hernia that I have to get taken care of soon, it's not bad yet, but it will get worse I know...

Re: Festool??????????

I put it off for a couple of years, just dreading the surgery (never had any before), but it was a breeze and recovery has been great....I got put under general anasthesia they sliced/diced put in a piece of permanent mesh over the tear and I was home in about 2 hours.

...stayed up the rest of the day on the 'puter and have just been taking it easy while healing, but no pain after the first few days and that was very minor.

Recovery has been very smooth, everything went much better than I was envisioning...knock on wood...
