Euro Ply

What can you guys tell me about euro ply? I've used baltic birch in the past for frameless projects or just plain shelves and open boxes. I like how the top veneer is fairly thick, but it is just birch. How does the euro ply compare to baltic in quality workability and price? thanks, Nick.

Re: Euro Ply

Not sure what you are referring to.

Was it used on European railroad cars?

Post a link, must be called something else here

Re: Euro Ply

The guy at the yard was telling me about this awhile back. I think that it's a lower grade version to Baltic Birch.

Re: Euro Ply

framerman. that kind of looks like it. Just from that photo the top veneers look thin. That is beat. Anyway, I will do some digging on my end (east coast) and see what I can come up with

Re: Euro Ply

The reference to this type of plywood is the first time I've heard of such a material.

I've heard of South African birch but never European ply.
