Estimating And Finishing In Toronto.
Hi guys!
I've been a carpenter for 14 years and never had to estimate anything. I've always worked for a contractor so I'm a little lost. Are there any standard labour prices for baseboard, crown and the hanging of doors (prehung and not prehung) I've read throught the post but prices vary significantly. Is anyone from the toronto (canada) area that can help? thank |

Exellent question. What about windows? Do I need extension jambs? Will I need to make alot of rips.
I think two hundred a door, to hang and trim, and 50-100 a window is fair and marketable. What do you guys think? |

rysio; Is this for a builder in new construction or private parties?
Builders wont pay 200 per door. If new, count all the holes IE doors and windows that times 125 ish should get ya close for windows and doors. base, shoe what is ur daily rate times how long? Crown ur daily times 1 1/2 times hrs. JackM |
