Crown On A Drop Ceiling
I want to install crown (MDF) on a drop ceiling. Any suggestions on how to secure it to the ceiling? Thanks, Jim

Re: Crown On A Drop Ceiling
Think you want to rip a 2X backer
to the spring angle and nail to that. Forget about fastening to the ceiling.

Re: Crown On A Drop Ceiling
what we've done in the past is after you shoot the crown to the wall, make sure the cross T above it is straight , hold it down from the top, and shoot a 2" trim nail through the crown, through the cross T. then from above, bend the nail over and drop in your pad. bending the nail over keeps it from loosening up. one nail every 4ft or so should do just fine.
