Chalking Wood House

Hi, for a wood house what type of chaulking do you recommend? I have used the DAP Latex sealant chaulk but it shrinks over time from the sun and cold and needs to be reapplied. Anything I can use that does not have to be reapplied every year?

Thanks

The best exterior sealant I've found is OSI Quad. Wear gloves and use thinner for clean up. I work in the Pacific NW and with all the rain we get it's best over the counter sealer, I think.

Yup I'll second that if it needs to be paintable I use OSI Quad or Dap makes a caulking call Dynaflex ,so far I havent had any trouble with it it seems like pretty good stuff and easier to clean up too.
